I AM IN LOVE WITH MY PURCHASE! I BOUGHT THIS A YEAR AGO AND RECENTLY TOOK IT OUT THE BOX. I EXPECTED TO SEE A DULL COLORED WOOD PRODUCT BUT WAS SURPRISED TO FIND A VERY RICH LOOKING HONEY PINE BUNKBED. MY 7 Y\/O DAUGHTER LOVES CLIMBING UP AND DOWN HER BED (OVER AND OVER AGAIN) AND I DON'T MIND AT ALL BECAUSE THE BED APPEARS TO BE VERY STURDY AND STRONG. HER GRANDFATHER PUT HER BED TOGETHER IN ABOUT AN HOUR. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AN INEXPENSIVE BUT GREAT BUY THIS IS IT! I DO WISH WALMART SOLD THE DRESSER, ETC SO I WOULDN'T HAVE TO PIECE TOGETHER A SET BUT FOR THE PRICE I PAID I CAN'T BE MAD AT THAT.
I had pretty low expectations for this bed based on the price, but I needed something for my girls at a reasonable price. I was given a delivery time of two weeks. The bed arrived after only one week. Thankfully someone was home the day it arrived since we were not expecting it.\n\nThe box was very large and it looked as if it was poorly handled during delivery. When I opened the box, I found one of the cables that held all of the large parts together was broken and the pieces had been banging around against each other. There was no padding at all for any of the pieces. The only thing separating the individual pieces was a thin plastic bag.\n\nAlmost all pieces had some damage, mostly just scratches where paint had been knocked off, but there were several pieces with major dents. One of the side pieces had been badly damaged, but I was able to get it straightened out enough to serve it's purpose.\n\nAssembly was pretty straight forward and easy to figure out.

This is a good futon bunk for the value. Works great in our kids room. My only main issue was that I didn't calculate the fact that the bunk bed would need to be placed away from the wall to pull the futon out in the bed position. I had wrongly assumed the bed would pull out into the room and stick out a bit, rather than center on the frame with overhang on the front and back. We have a very tiny room so this means less floor space in the middle than I had predicted. All the photos of the bunk bed show it up against the wall so it is important to point this out.
I bought this bunkbed for my 7 and 10 year old. They absolutely love it. The 7 year old stated they wanted to sleep on the top and has not regretted that decision. The bed was easy to put together and looks great.
This was my first time ordering something from Walmart.com and I was SO pleased with my experience I will surely make more purchases in the future. I ordered this bed from site to store and I was thrilled with the convenience of receiving a text message when the order arrived. My order was ready BEFORE the estimated time of delivery, which was surprising but wonderful! The bed does take about two hours to put together with two people, like others stated, and ours went together without any hiccups. No parts were missing, nothing was damaged. I am beyond thrilled with how sleek and sturdy this bed looks and is. The desk is very large and heavy duty. The full sized bed is spacious enough, it can fit my 9 yr. old son AND me comfortably.! It has a tiny bit of sway going up and down the ladder, but nothing to be concerned about. The ladder\/opening to bed IS narrow and a little hard on your feet, but it doesn't seem to bother my son. Our bed does not squeek, as some others have stated. I ordered a six inch memory foam mattress for the loft, which works well. But honestly, you could even go with an eight inch, I feel there is enough room. Overall, for the price, you can't beat the quality. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a loft bed!!

Good bed- bad delivery
The bed is good but the delivery was no where near good. First they claimed they tried to deliver for a week but I had no notification. Then they had no idea it was to be delivered to an apartment - funny considering they have been tring to deliver it for a week. Then when it shows up its dented, scratched, and missing paint. If you get this bed be sure to get it directly from the company.
There should be disclosure that this product comes in about 100 pieces that must be assembled. It took around 3 hours to put this product together and we are generally pretty good at that type of thing. The product is attractive once it has been assembled but not a good value since all you are getting is pieces of wood, some screws and some poorly written assembly instructions. (Made in China: that should tell you all you need to know about the instructions!)
This bed went together very well and although its not perfect it is very well made and easy to assemble with just a 4mm Allen driver. Yes the top bunk is a little high for a 8 ft ceiling but its not really an issue as my child is only up there to sleep. The bottom bunk is great for them to sit and hang out because its got the head room to sit up straight. It looks great and I like that you can get up on both sides giving you the choice to place it on either side of the room. Mine doesn't squeak at all because I tightened up all the screws. Its not going to be 100% solid when you climb up duh...but hey if it has to be for you I thought of just anchoring two straps to the wall and it would be rock solid, if that's what you desire. Overall the girls are very happy and really have not complained at all and believe me they would definitely voice there opinions and there opinions were that they like it very much. I would definitely recommend this bed to anyone looking to save room and make an improvement to the look, very stylish color and design.

It is a good bunk bed. It is easy for me to move it around in their room as well. This is important for me because I rearrange furniture a lot during cleaning or reorganizing. It is also pretty sturdy. I don't have to worry about it collapsing. I have boys, ages 8 and 9yrs olds and they are rough, so this was definately a concern. While putting it together, I did make a mistake and put the side bar, that the ladder connects to, the wrong way. I cannot fix it because I already put the grey clips in that hold the metal bars in place for the mattress area. Now I cannot put the ladder on. The clips are a bit difficult to push in and it hurt my hands. I would take them out and redo it, but I don't want to scratch up the bed. I tried to take two of the clips out and I had no luck. So, I advise you all to not get excited and to carefully review the intructions as you go, as well as look over the bed to make sure all screw holes are facing the correct way. I rushed while putting this bed together because I wanted to suprise my kids before they got home from school. Not complaining, but the delivery guy showed up a few days before the delivery date. I had a limited amount of time to put this together if I was going to suprise my kids. They didn't know I bought it and unfortunately, I messed up. My mistake lol It IS easy to put together. Just pay attention :)

The beds are beautiful we bought 2 and not to hard to put togeather. I would recommend buying box springs w mattress! My girls absolutely love their first big girl beds!
